Misdemeanor Shoplifting Charge in Arlington Virginia AMENDED to Unlawful Entry & will be DISMISSED

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA: Misdemeanor Petit Larceny charge from Shoplifting at Nordstroms (VA Code 18.2-103 and 18.2-96) was first AMENDED to an Unlawful Entry charge, VA Code 18.2-121, and per agreement, the Unlawful Entry charge will be DISMISSED after completion of a behavioral class, community service, and good behavior.

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA: Felony Grand Larceny / Concealment charge from shoplifting at Kohls (VA Code 18.2-103 and 18.2-95) was REDUCED to a misdemeanor under 18.2-96 with no active jail time.

The charge was promptly DROPPED by the government on appeal.

NORTHERN VIRGINIA: Felony fraud charge of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses (VA Code 18.2-178) and associated Felony Conspiracy charge resulted as follows: both felonies were DROPPED in exchange for a guilty plea to misdemeanor larceny (VA Code 18.2-96) with NO ACTIVE JAIL time, no fines, and no restitution.
